Well.. I can think of more humane ways to kill seals than hammering them on their little heads...
That's what I object to.

Actually hammering them on the head with the axe is the best way to kill a seal.
Also the cod fishery will never return if the seals keep eating them.

I understand the seals are too numerous..
but unfortunately.. the club on the head is what has people upset as far as managing their numbers.
